Ama had never ran so hard in her life as she tried to stay ahead of the giantess behind her. It didn't help she had to weave around every single blade of grass and there was random giant objects everywhere such as yarn and bells. Why bells?! Speaking of bells she took a hard right only to run right into a large silver one that was as big as the neko's fist.

"What's with all the f*cking bells?!" She screamed, rubbing her throbbing forehead as a bump started to grow in. As she started to stand though she realized she had worse troubles. The neko now had her tail pinned by an index finger. Looking up she could see that playful smirk taunting her.

"Nyahaha, looks like I caught my little intruder," she giggled, plucking her up by the tail, making her squeak loudly. The pain was even worse than the time she broke her arm!

"Let go of my tail! That hurts soooo much, and I am not a damn intruder I live here too! Wait, you know Aligra put me in here! Put me down already!!"

The neko kept the mouse a good distance from her face as she tried to throw punches at her. Ama now noticed she had a big pouty face on looking very distraught.

"Wh-What's wrong?"

"How come no one can at least try to play along with me, nya?"

Ama was now stumped. "… … …What?"

"Everyone always thinks I'm being literal! I just wanna have a little fun. Some roleplay even, but every time I try to play with people they actually think I'm being serious!"

"So… you're not going to eat me?"

"NYA! NO! I thought at the very least YOU'D think that I was kidding. Master or Aligra would crush me if I even tried such a stupid thing," she whined, taking a seat on her bed before placing the neera in her lap. "Even if we're different animals we're still half human, so it is still kinda cannibalism, and last I checked that's wrong."

"Uh…huh…" Keeping up with this one was tough. And she was still trying to get over everything the neko said before. "S-So you don't like it when people don't play along? Well, maybe you shouldn't assume that I'm just going to think you're kidding right away. I'm smaller than your index finger and a mouse! So far only two people in this house haven't scared me to death today and that's Aligra and Helva!"

The cat raised her brow. "Nya? Helva? Really? But she's the scariest thing since Jason."

"Assuming things again…" Ama muttered.

"I'm not assuming it, she is really that scary! Aligra is terrified of her, I'm terrified of her, even master worries about her abilities every now and then!! Why do you not see the nightmare monster?"

"Shut up about Helva! You insult her one more time and I'll-"

The neko giggled. "You'll… what? Puny little tiny can't even hurt me at all."

"I'll… get Ali-mmph!" Before she could finish the neko pressed the neera into the shirt of her stomach making her flail and try to free herself.

"Silly wuittle mouse. So long as I'm holding you, you can't really do much, but," she let Ama go, allowing her to sit up and gather a breath. It smelled like fish! "But fine, I'll stop bad mouthing the demoness. So, introductions time! I'm Ashley, one of the few girls here that have a normal name, and what do you think of paying with me again sometime?"

Ama smiled a bit. At least she was friendly and tried. "I'm Ama, the new girl. And I dunno… I can't really get around without help so it depends if Aligra will let me. Also, no more surprises like that! Do not freak me out by threatening to eat me is what I mean."

"But surpises are what make it fun," Ashley pouted.

"Ture, but they're also the reason people might not like playing with you. I'm guessing you 'played' with Mistrol at one point?"

"Nya, yes."

"What exactly did you say to her?"

"Uhm, I think it was, mhmm, bird season!"

Ama sighed. "See, that's why. You gotta realize we're much smaller than you so it makes those words sound, real. Not like a joke. So how about this, I'll play your games next time, but we need to agree on something, and there'll be no FRIGHTENING surprises. Okay?"

"Mew! Yes! Finally I get to have a playmate," she mewled, hugging the neera to her cheek.
"Finally, someone a little easier to be around," Ama said, smiling ever so slightly.

It was the atoms. Everything that caused the trouble was because of atoms. A man's atoms were widespread throughout their body, but a woman's… they were just ever so slightly more condensed. That explained everything! The difference was so small though. It wasn't a surprise that modern science hadn't discovered it yet. With the helmet on a girl it would hit one atom and then cause a chain reaction to all of the other ones, but with a male they were just far enough apart for said atom to not connect with the others. Hence forth it would somehow deteriorate. He wasn't sure what caused the atom to fail and not explode like how splitting an atom caused a nuclear explosion, but he, Garson, was positive they were the key to everything. And that was all that mattered.

When the helmet was off the electric current would run through a being's entire being. For a woman this was fatal. He knew… the first three were female and they flat lined a second after that switch was thrown.  But for a male this would be success since the atoms were more spread out and so to was the electric current so it would connect with them all!  But then again, he had done it on a male without the helmet. He died. Was it a system malfunction or was it something else? Maybe there was a second element that needed to be added to the equation?

Using his photographic memory he tried to remember the boy before the switch was thrown. He fought and struggled endlessly for his… life.

"Will power…" He mumbled setting his pen and paper down before leaning back in his seat. "The desire to do whatever it takes to survive and live or do anything. The others put up little fight after seeing Helva, but that boy was a regular dynamo, even after the process he was still up and running. Will power and the electricity and goo… Combine them all and a new creation. But I need to test it first… it is too risky to try it on myself. I need another like the cop. Someone who'll fight my science… for their life! I need…" His hand brushed over the com and pressed the button. "Helva, report to the labs. Immediately."

Anela glared at the mouse boy as he whimpered and tried to tug himself free of her web. Being a dridder she was able to spin sticky spider silk. There were two basements in the house. The one was for the master's lab, the other was her room where she and hundreds of spiders lurked about among the long white strands she had made personally. For her it was a paradise to be among those who thought her a queen.

For Trevor it was a wide awake nightmare. The skittering, screeching sounds of the other spiders that were people sized to him, bigger, or even smaller were everywhere. There were black widows, tarantulas, and even those creepy Mondo spiders from Australia everywhere!  He feared at any moment they'd come and suck the life from him. Poison him and drink his blood. He always thought it was cool when bugs were trapped in a spider's web. That was before HE became the bug!

Anela could see it on his face. He was going to break soon. His whimpers would go from little muses to ear shattering screams. What must it have been like? When Ashley was in here she couldn't stand the sound with her kind of hearing. She almost ripped her ears right off even. So what must if have been like for someone with better hearing than a human AND one so small? Such a migraine she was giving him.

Anela's attention was drawn away by a daddy long legs that took perch on her shoulder. The spider chittered into her ear before leaving. There was the greatest perk to being a dridder. Her spiders could traverse all throughout the house and tell her what any one was doing at any time. Even the master's chamber wasn't secret from her. Her little friend just informed her that he was grabbing Helva for something… bigger, and that the new girl was with the neko which meant it was going to be Anela's turn to see her soon. IF Aligra ever got over her emotional problem that is. But, the master… what was he planning to do now that he had his answers? It would have to happen soon. The spiders she had watching the outside could see cops running here and there, watching. No doubt they were waiting for orders to enter… or even a swat team. The house couldn't be ignored any longer it seemed. The last group was the final straw.

"What would it be like to live in a laboratory?" She wondered as she plucked the mouse boy from silky stick strings. Despite the fact she'd put him there he seemed relatively more calm in her hand. "Hmph, cute, but punishment time is over. Next time don't make Aligra cry and we won't have this happen again."

"S-Sure… a-anything y-you say," he squeaked, hugging her index finger tightly.

Walking vertically up the wall to a door near the ceiling she smiled and tucked him away in her cleavage, feeling she'd over done it a bit earlier. "Good mouse. But when I put you down, you're fending for yourself."

Blurrrrrrrssss... Helva gets to come back next time it seems... And any of you harry potter readers? Remember when Harry and Ron went into the forest where the car was and there was the sh*t ton of spiders there? Imagine that, but only with me species of them... and Anela as the big spider.
